Why should we listen to them? It is, as you said, hearsay. Suppose I get 50 of my friends together and we hold our own press conference. Each of my friends is willing to testify that they have never seen an alien spacecraft, seen an ET, been abducted, or have any reason to believe that 'aliens are among us'.
If the video that opened this thread is to be taken as evidence of alien visitation, then a video made of my press conference should have equal weight in refuting that evidence.

Because the governments official policy is to keep this secret, so unless you will listen to whistle blowers you will not be finding out any time soon. As far as your press conference, who are you, and do you have any classified clearance levels in special access projects for the military or government? Also a lot of what they are saying documented with radar tapes, and other documents.
