North Carolina Transgender & bathrooms

Republicans are fucking morons.  They're afraid of anything different.  "How will I explain this to my kids?!"  Apparently they lived a goddamn sheltered life, and now they're afraid that their children are going to live in the real world.  

FACT: States who have given protections to transpeople using the bathroom have NOT seen their sexual assault rate go up as a result of the law.

It's all a bunch of bigots dressing up their hatred as fear.  Plain and simple.

A relative of an in-law is a primary teacher, and that is her justifcation for her constant whining aboutus passing the same sex marriage referendum las summer (and implementation of same in law come September). She wants the constitution overturned because "how can I explain it to my students?" Lucky for her I've never been around her moaning, because my response would be "simples, tell them that some women like other women and some men other men and there is absolutely nothing wrong with this. And so the people of Ireland decided that they deserve the same rights as everybody else". Of course, she'd hate that kind of thinking.
