A public bathroom will not magically cause someone to molest anyone or prevent it anymore than any other crime of opportunity. 

Rape of an adult or molestation of a kid, is about OPPORTUNITY not location outside of isolation of the victim and that isolation can be ANYWHERE. 

A isolated low traffic bathroom would be no different than a uncle offering to baby sit a victim and doing it while the parents are away. The location is not the most important aspect to single out a victim, the isolation is.

It is the same thing with prison rape, they don't do it because they are gay, they do it to assert their power over the victim. Power over your victim is the motivation for ALL sexual assaults and it has nothing to do with gender or sexuality.

A heterosexual man can go into a men's bathroom and peep on a boy just as easily, much more easily. And most sane parents go into bathrooms with their kids and most of the time are in high traffic areas in any case. The room does not trigger the perp, the opportunity and isolation and power over the victim are what motivate the perp.

This is more likely to happen than in a bathroom.

FACT: States who have given protections to transpeople using the bathroom have NOT seen their sexual assault rate go up as a result of the law.
