As an aside, I got a voicemail message from my Uncle Charlie not too long ago congratulating me about school and wishing me well, and it ended with, "Now Mahke, you go ahead an' make sure you vote for Donald Trump now, he's gonna change this country for the better, ye' hear?" He's a good ol' southern boy; he probably had a chaw in and a Budweiser in his hand as he did it. He is a redneck, and I love that man.

You know what would make America great - or any given country, for that matter?

Providing the population with a solid education and making sure, they're not getting poorer by the minute. And to not throw them to the wolves when getting sick.

I guess that's the major shame of our Western civilizations. The richest countries in the world not being able or willing to provide for the most basic needs of their people. No wonder they're turning to the guys promising the easy solutions.
