Yes why do you ask?  He says black and white people shouldn't breed together and makes examples of birds flock with their own kind.  And that he did a speech at a KKK meeting which they cheered him for.

Because he clearly was joking and made fun of them. Bragging is something different. I also find it funny but not surprising that you take this one incident and don't consider all the other things he said in his life. But I applaud your effort in finding something meeting your expectations. It's not that easy, since most of what Ali said was on entirely different lines.
