It's really -not- a good idea to act upon, even if it's an understandable idea to hold. No need to apologize for thinking it, I mean...but you probably shouldn't -do- it. That's ignoring the damage that shooting a person would likely cause to you, you probably wouldn't feel much like a hero even if you managed...out of ignorance and blind luck, to shoot a really nasty person.
