I'm sorry, but I've never heard "Britain First", as a slogan against UK leaving EU. Where did you hear/see it used that way? It doesn't seem to make much sense in that context.
And of course Jo Pax was on the Remain side, from what I hear, so - unless the guy was just a random nut, really, really confused, incredibly sarcastic, or trying to implicate the right-wingers - it doesn't seem to fit either...
I stated that too certainly, definitely; I was trying to give fellow non-UK people some context. That was what I took from a first reading of this on the Huffington Post (which, although I think has value, can be fringy-left at times and is prone to exaggeration):
Quote:Media reports citing witnesses said the attacker had shouted out “Britain First”, which is the name of a right-wing group that describes itself on its website as “a patriotic political party and street defense organization”.
Jayda Fransen, deputy leader of Britain First, said the attack was “absolutely disgusting” and suggested that Britain first was a common slogan being used in the EU referendum campaign by those who support Brexit.
OHHHHHH I SAID THAT WRONG. I MEANT PRO-BREXIT SLOGAN. MY BAD.

Don't worry, my friend. If this be the end, then so shall it be.
