Forgive me for being ignorant, but the 'you' in Genesis 9:3 that was given the green plants sounds like a continuation of the promise made to Adam that he would eat of the fruits of the field. This sounds like an addendum to a generational promise, not a promise made specifically to apply to Noah.
Well, for starters, I never claimed that it specifically applied to Noah. I quoted two verses because the point was both contradict one another. Could I have used other examples in the bible that contradict each other, sure. There are plenty to choose from. But being as I don't believe anyone here has ever posted this particular contradiction, it was a good one to post.
