Did you know that farmers randomly walk out in the fertilizer and chemical covered breeding and killing fields and yank potatos up from the safety of Earth. A potato cannot abide direct sunlight as it causes its insides to start fermenting and rotting. Do you think these farmers care? They even go so far as to slice that potato in half, exposing its sensitive innards to the sun and air. A false skin is never offered the potato. And get this, the farmer does this just to make sure his "crop" is growing according to the harsh chemicals he sprays upon them. The farmer then tosses that severed potato , still alive, on the ground leaving it to slowly die and rot with its sensitive innards exposed to the weather, atmosphere, and blinding hot summer sun. Sometimes animals will come at night and devour that severed potato while it is still alive and the farmer would not care one bit.
