cGodfrey, are you sure you are an atheist?
I ask because in your initial post you refer to the lack of an afterlife when maybe you would prefer one?
I am of the opinion that people of faith hold on to that faith in the hope of " eternal life ".
HuhA man is born to a virgin mother, lives, dies, comes alive again and then disappears into the clouds to become his Dad. How likely is that?
