It's like people are trying to drive off good candidates for the job. "Police are scum! They're all dirty, they're all in cohoots, they're all killers!"
People, you are going to get the police force you deserve. Sadly, the rest of us will have to live with your poor judgment.
It's probably the pay that drives off the majority of "good candidates". Then, ofc...if any remain in the pool willing to do the job, we screen them out in favor of our profiles. Yes, we have the police that we deserve..but not on account of saying mean things......
