Im not sure how many of your guys got killed in that 9/11 attack. I havent run down the list according to countries visiting/working that day. All I know is a shit load of people have had justice served.
Thats it chaps. Hop out of those uniforms and lets meet at the pub for a well deserved toast to freedom and friendship
We lost some during the 7:7 London Bombings. One bus blew up and one train. Thing is, the very next day, Londoners carried on as if nothing happened. Still went on buses and trains. The message we sent out was that we will not show fear, we will not change our ways and that they'll have to do a lot better than that.
The terrorists failed. We carried on like normal the next day, unaffected.
We must not show fear, we must not let them affect our lives. As the sign says! -
We Americans had some fear. Then again, we got hit pretty hard, especially when we found out one of the planes was trying to hit the White House. That pretty much settled it for us when that was made public. If it was just some random bombing, we would have let some tears loose, and then go about your business. But this attack? Man, that one hurt us.
Oh yeah, and sorry to hear about that train bombing. I remember seing it and thinking "Are these terrorists just going to keep going and going?"
