You got hit pretty hard. You do have a good reason to be affected by it. Just don't ever give in to them. Let them know time and time again that they have failed. They take lives, we become more determined. They try to change us, we refuse and carry on like normal.
Like when a bully pushes you to the ground, just get back up, dust yourself off....then deck the bastard.
During WW2, every bombing run the Germans made, we dusted ourselves off and carried on as normal even made jokes about it. Got them back later on in the day.
The terrorists want some kind of reaction and effect like fear. Don't give them the satisfaction. Just make sure they pay for it.
