When I was in the hospital for mental health treatment in 2011 there was a woman, a nurse, with a bad back and an oxycodone dependency. I don't care to get the details, but suffice it to say there was an incident with her baby and some stairs. Was it her fault? Maybe. Probably. I don't know. Were I in her shoes, I don't think I would have needed the hospital, you know?
I never put my own kid in jeopardy - but I can't even kid myself into thinking it's because of my superior parenting
