Back about a year ago, I decided to spend about $9000 on a near top of the line camera, 3 very fine lenses that would be able to do the camera sensor justice, and a computer to process the images. I have not regretted it.
This is legit. I was going to say the same thing. Plan your bills make sure you can pay them and have enough left over to cover it. I would not dip into savings or charge it to a credit card. Worse comes to worse set what money you can aside until you can afford it. Is it a hafta buy now or lose it forever kind of thing?
