To be fair, Clinton has much more sway with the DNC and the Democrat party than she has with the general electorate. Be specific: how might she, not holding any office at all, wield the power to suppress Republican votes? Exactly what do you fear she might do?
I'm not saying she's above that sort of thing -- she's obviously not. But how does she wield the power to channel Republican voters away from polling booths come November?
