I didn't stutter. In the west citizens do not owe religious people or politicians or celebrities taboos. Especially not religion or politicians in seats of power. "Blasphemy" is simply another subset of a demand not to "offend a power". What "dignity" has he been showing others for the past year? When a politician talks like him, it is no longer typical mudslinging, it is demagoguery and that is toxic to a civil west.
Trump does not get to play victim, nor do we owe any of his vile comments over the past year any "dignity". Do not equate what he has done to someone responding to him as being the same. The issue is his position, not free speech itself.
So it is eye for an eye after all. If he doesn't respect the dignity of others, you say he doesn't get any.
