Trump does not get to play victim, nor do we owe any of his vile comments over the past year any "dignity". Do not equate what he has done to someone responding to him as being the same. The issue is his position, not free speech itself.
So it is eye for an eye after all. If he doesn't respect the dignity of others, you say he doesn't get any.
