Maybe this viewpoint you're both fan-ficing about -is- the letter from bob? Christians...for example.... enjoy pride, independence, and pleasure....and yet.......
You see, a great many people don;t have any adverse reaction to the converse of those things you were discussing...nor have they been presented with a narrative which assume the truth of gods desire -for- them.......and still they don;t believe. They don't believe.....because you are not compelling. They would...just as marks all over the world believe in con men all over the world...if you were. So, you could blame the failures of others to believe in whatever x you're peddling on a whole host of things, if that's something that interests you...but ultimately, those attributions are pathetically weak. It's you...just you, you're the problems. A smoother operator would have long ago convinced people of x. It happens all day every day, everywhere, regardless of the truth of x.
