Hey Zen, the car ran without backfiring or any other problems. The real issue with conventional carburization or fuel injection is not that they dont work, but how much fuel that they waste. You should know that liquid fuel can't burn, only that which is vaporized with air can. Carburetors are notorious poor perforformers when it comes to efficiency. Originally, when cars were first built, the carburetor was simply a pan full of fuel that air would pass over to evaporate the gas to run the engine. But because there was not sufficient surface area on the surface of the gas, the vehicle could only reach about 25 miles per hour. Venturi carburetors gave Mercedes Benz the racing edge in the early 1900's by allowing more fuel to mix with air, but not vaporize it entirely. Fuel injection helped with vaporization since the fuel is driven into the air stream in a rationed amount in a finer mist than carburetors could ever do. Direct injection is even more efficient by spraying fuel in at over 1500#'s. Vapor carbs work because only the vaporized fuel reaches the cylinders. The wasted liquid droplets never travel through the exhaust to be discarded. This method does not burn up a motor. It saves gas by not throwing any away. Cooler plugs and some timing adjustment is all it takes to compensate for the increased cylinder temperature. Otherwise everything else stays the same.
If God has answered prayer for me in such a public way as this, it is only because I have asked. I know many,many christians who think that is strange that these things happen for me, but I have met those who have special gifts. I have tried to pray for things which benefit others the most. I am in no way special or extra blessed. I have gone through horrible trials in my life, just like anybody else. I had hoped that the evaporator carb would be a wonderful thing to give away to society. You would think that such a gift would be welcomed by everyone. But, oil companies and car builders have been working for years to get us to believe that high mileage cars are difficult to build. Not true!
I can not order God to heal all of the problems on this planet. These trials were designed to be here for a purpose that few people understand. I have already shared the reasons for all these things. I know that we are dealing with two sides (good an evil) which we can choose, and two who are presenting their cases before us. We can choose to love, and God can heal things, or we can choose to hate, and this gives evil the chance to continue destroying our world. God has allowed us to get our hands dirty here so that He can show us how He still can love us anyway. He still accepts us with nothing more than our genuine "I"m Sorry".
