Did you require scientists to tell you about the magnetic field of the earth or was it obvious to you from day 1?

Science is science.  Religious faith is crap pretending to be science.

Yeah but on the same token any science you can't directly prove for yourself is just populist crap right?

There are so many un-obvious things in reality, you have to go to school and have other people teach you to learn about most of them.

And there a rub on that one too! How much is there to know and what percentage of that does man currently know? And then what happens when we start creating our own data, then big data and metadata on top of that? Will it ever end? Will it ever be meaningful...
