The only likely conclusions if such a god exists are: 1. He's a right evil bastard, 2. He is a terrible designer, or 3. He doesn't exist.
I place my vote on the third. There are so many holes in religion that it really is painfully obvious that it was all made up by man. An all knowing god couldn't fuck up this badly, unless it was deliberate, then that itself opens up more questions and faults.
