I had to go over my orders of engaugement over and over and over, because my instint was to run, but I needed to be there backing my dad. So I stuck with what I was told to do. If anyone had shot i would have at least tried to kill 3 guys in the right order. would have probably stopped after than and ran.
At 12? So you're comparing a veteran of five years police service to a 12 year old getting instructions from his father? Seriously?
Once again, have you watched the footage? And do you assume that a trained police officer acts like a 12 year old with a piece in his hands?
My point is people today are not use to experiencing being super charged or juiced up and often times panic.
5 years as a cop= 5 years of proceedures, not 5 years of dealing with having to make life and death decisions unpressure. That is what the proceedures are for, so that you can go by the book and not have to think about details. Those proceedures give you different conditions to check off inorder to make the decision for you whether or not to shoot someone.
What I am saying with my experience I know she had to be going over and over in her mind whether to shoot or not. So that means she was checking off the procedures that cleared her to shoot. Things like all of black guys compliance issues combined with him 'reaching' with the sound of the tazer.. There was no thought involved. by her trainning she had the green light to shoot. She was under threat and she her what she thought was a gun shot.
