The Washington Post had an article out last year. 385 people have been shot and killed by police in the first five months of 2015. Nationwide.

By the same token, very few police personnel are killed on duty in the United States because they react quickly. He should be honest with himself, in that if he was American, he would be shitting bricks if there were no police around. It is typical left-wing behaviour where everyone single one of them criticises the police, but are willing to support the police when something happens to one of their own.
