Saying he might not accept the outcome of Nov. 8th appeals only to the tin foil haberdashery of his base. It sets of a whole new round of negative news cycles, to be combined with more accusers. Not good for him.

I'm sure that's going to spark a whole new round of negative news. But then again, this isn't really all that surprising, considering his general mistrust of establishment politicians, Washington, the media, intelligence officials (I don't trust them a whole lot either), and pretty much all kinds of insiders.

Whether or not he really believes that the election process is going to be rigged against him, I think his main reason of promoting this idea is simply to make more people (edit: or rather his base) go out and vote, as Min just pointed out.

Essentially, he is attempting to rig peoples' minds - by using the fear tactic.
