I told Jesster, Your friendly neighborhood heathen, that I will let her direct me so as not go astray from whatever she wants to think that I am going astray, in order not to bear the burden of proving God exists.

So, Jesster, I am back, and here is my OP:

I am a theist, what do you think of my proof for God existing?

This is my proof for God existing.

1. Formulate the information of the concept of God, thus:
"God in concept is first and foremost the creator and operator of the universe and man and everything with a beginning."

2. Look for instances of causation in reality outside of concepts in our mind.

3. We find countless examples of causation in reality outside of concepts in our mind.

4. From the countless instances of causation in reality, we infer to the existence of a first and ultimate cause.

5. We find that the first and ultimate cause of all instances of causation in reality corresponds to our information on the concept of God, namely, the creator and operator of the universe and man and everything with a beginning.

6. Conclusion: God exists in concept as first and foremost the creator and operator of the universe and man and everything with a beginning.

So, dear Jesster, what point do you want us to go together on, so that we will be one on one, and resolve the issue God exists or not, with me of course bearing the burden of proving, but you have to also bind yourself to think on truths, facts, logic, and the history of ideas.

And I thank you that you profess yourself to be Your Friendly Neighborhood Heathen, nowadays, we are just one click away from each other, no walls to scale to get to each other.


Dear guys here, thanks a lot for your posts, but I cannot be with you because I am going to be very busy with Jesster, she is a lady, and you know the courtesy rule, Ladies First.

Tell you what, when Jesster has left me, then you can propose that I exchange thoughts with you on your most accustomed point against God existing, of course no burden from your part to prove, but you have to practise thinking on truths, facts, logic, and the history of ideas.

I have given you something to debunk. Forget about Jesster and let's put my arguments to the test. Or is this sexism talk just a clever way for you to save face while you chicken out?
