Because you see yourselves to be good at convincing starting with yourselves, God does not exist in objective reality outside of concepts in our mind.
Nope.
Still not correct.
I do not claim, with absolute certainty, that a god does not exist. I disbelieve that a god does exist.
It is not up to us to prove that your god does not exist, it is up to you to prove that it does.
Here's the way it works; theists claim at least one god exists. They (you) are the ones that have the burden of proof. It is up to you to provide the evidence and reasoned argument that a god exists, and if I am convinced, I will no longer be an atheist.
Logical 'proofs' are not evidence.
In response to your request that we provide proof that atoms exist, you have been provided actual evidence, not a logical 'proof'.
Now, it is time for you to put up or shut up.
Can you provide the same level of evidence for the existence of atoms, for your god?
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
