Well, I'm sorry to have to be the person who informs you of this...but your dad's a racist....take heart...most of our dads are racist - and being hispanic isn't some sort of vaccine or immunity. To be blunt, the hispanic community is -notorious- for it's racism.
Quote:Neither one of my parents was the least bit happy with the candidate they voted for, but they voted on who they saw as the lesser evil of 2 very very bad choices. The lesser of two evils, for your father, was open racism and bigotry.
Quote:Neither one of them is anything other than a decent human being trying to do the right thing when they feel backed into a corner. Calling either of them nasty, accusatory things will only alienate them from the opposite side.I don;t doubt that your father -is- a decent human being......so's mine....still a racist, so's my wifes...still a bigot.

If you defend personal responsibility and believe in expanding opportunities for all, they say you're just blind to your own racism.Actually, I call anyone who puts in a vote for racism and bigotry a racist bigot. I;m not a big fan of socialist tyranny either, but it's not as if we were toiling under any of that, or that was on the table to be voted for. Both Obama and Hillary are center right. I think that people should be free to be racists and bigots out in the open. There;s no need for them, or you...to hide who you are with me...I accept you for what you all are, lol. Hell, at least you're american racists and bigots. "They" say alot of silly things, but that doesn't mean that everything they say about you, and them...is wrong.
