Wow. Talk about the proverbial can of worms. FaithNoMore, now I think I do owe you an apology. Everybody seems to be tripping over each other, to show who can display the crassest racial discrimination against Mexicans.

Again, I naively thought that the rational, no-bullshit frame of mind expected from a practicing Atheist could not coexist with attitudes that are more worthy of a card-carrying Tea Partier. Apparently I was wrong:

And again, what is your source for saying that Mexico’s “culture.. values it's little hovels and gang affiliations more than they value having a decent quality of life”? Come on, this is Glenn Beck’s/Rush Limbaugh’s territory.

You are taking this all way too seriously. Just because were atheists(what is a practicing atheist anyway?) doesn't mean we check our sense of humor at the door. One of the greatest qualities a human can have is the ability to laugh at something that at face value seems offensive but is not meant to be so. You can make all the white, Native American, mental patient jokes you want and I will laugh right along with you.
