At first, I strongly suspected whoever did this photoshop fucked up the placement of their vertical axis, perhaps misidentifying an outer Incisor for a Canine tooth.

However, looking into it, while I haven't had confirmation, it seems Tom Cruise had some serious dental surgeries to make his smile look better, and one wound up shifting the teeth in his upper jaw so it's kind of out of alignment.

That said, I'm still not sure about the axes of this particular picture.
