I wonder what food stuffs that (my bolded) would be? I visited an urban farm in Oakland which raised "micro greens" I think they called them. Interesting set up: scaffolding supports holding ten foot sections of rain gutter laid out at a gradual decline, with the one above emptying into the one below; some sort of solar pump and a couple of cisterns (one used for compost tea); and harvesting consisted of running an electric knife over the top of a gutter over a collection pan. Sold to high end restaurants. Pretty cool steam punk flavor.
