Try Buckfast, I don't think you'd like it.

I'd definitely have that with my last meal along with a good ol' sausage supper.

With the Sash and then Hijack the Pope Mobile playing in the background if they let me have a song or two.

Yeah, chances are I wouldn't... I don't really like any alcohol, especially spirits, unless it's sweet... and even then it's just because it gets rid of the taste of alcohol. I drink it for the sake of Dutch courage sometimes but that's it... I don't enjoy it so once I'm merry it's back to cokes etc.  So Absinth was a pleasant but unexpected surprise... a spirit sweet enough for me to happily drink neat. But anyway, what is Buckfast?

It gets a bad rep for being associated with neds (Scottish chavs) but it's not really that bad. Just assholes abuse it but you could say that about any drink really.
