I'm not arguing about what kind of Healthcare should be subsidized or not but I agree with you that it indeed is a slippery slope. My point is that the public should have the freedom to opt out of paying for others' Healthcare needs. It should be seen as a charitable service, not as a fee the public is entitled to.
The general idea behind paying your taxes is you're sharing your fair share of money to the govt so that they can help better your life, in the forms of better roads, safer neighborhood etc. Paying my money to a lady with an unwanted pregnancy isn't going to have any direct impact on my life, so of course, I should have the right to choose whether I want to partake in charity or not.

Also, your tax money does not fund abortions. I think it's important that we stick to the facts.
