How do you think the crisis would have gone down if it hadn't been handled by cool headed political professionals and their advisors? On both sides.

One can only speculate but when even LBJ was minutes away from ordering a nuclear strike on Egypt because unmarked Israeli planes were bombing the USS Liberty, I'm not too keen on Dump handling something like the Cuba crisis.

Good thing he gets along with Russia. You can't both want a world that is safer from nuclear war and at the same time argue that it's bad to be friendly with Russia.

Problem is, one can honestly see Trump nuking the likes of Nauru because of a refused planning permission for a golf course on the island. I wouldn't say it even joking of any other world leader (except Kim Jong-un, but we know N. Korea couldn't get a nuke rocket to travel five miles let alone a few thousand), but of Trump I honestly think he'd be insane enough to order it.
