Dead right about the Ripper. First couple of times I was there was for the tours, which are pretty fun at night. But now, you wouldn't die just because you're a prostitute: You'd die because you're not Muslim.
Some great pubs there, still, and I do love S&M (the restaurant, though the other kind is fun, too).
