It's probably worth a RedBox rental. I certainly wouldn't buy the DVD or anything. It wasn't all horrible. To be fair it really wasn't that much worse than any other pointless reboot. But at times, yeah, it was pretty horrible.
Lately I've noticed a lot of the review sites with apparently artificially inflated reviews. Rotten Tomatoes even failed to add a consumer review portion to their page for some series I was going to review there a few months ago. Supergilr, maybe. There was that one and one other super-hero series I had watched about the same time, both equally terrible, both with review scores in the 90s. Either there is no longer any integrity among critics or movies and television have finally gotten so bad that even critics don't remember what a good show actually looks like. It's gotten to the point where the only reviews I trust are negative reviews. If it's in the 90s I just assume it's shit and the critics got paid.

You shut your whore mouth!!! I mean, that's unfortunate and I'm not sure why you would feel that way.
EDIT: To be fair, and with full disclosure in mind, I never liked Star Wars. I love sci-fi but hated Firefly, Babylon 5 and that other one that I always confuse with Firefly. I think they were both on around the same time and both really shitty, so I can't separate them in my head. And, to my greatest of shame, I was a HUGE fan of Stargate: Universe. I still love it. So my taste isn't exactly "mainstream", by any means. Fuck Star Wars. You bring your damned space sword to a gun fight. Two words. BUCK SHOT! Early Cuyler, the lovable, racist squid from the butt crack of Georgia, could take out a slew of Jedi knights in an afternoon while stone cold drunk.
Have you ever noticed all the drug commercials on TV lately? Why is it the side effects never include penile enlargement or super powers?
Side effects may include super powers or enlarged penis which may become permanent with continued use. Stop taking Killatol immediately and consult your doctor if you experience penis enlargement of more than 3 inches, laser vision, superhuman strength, invulnerability, the ability to explode heads with your mind or time travel. Killatoll is not for everyone, especially those who already have convertibles or vehicles of ridiculous size to supplement penis size.
