I can totally see that. I do love McCarthey. I just wish she'd go a little more multidimensional as an actress. I really enjoyed her in Spy and Identity Thief. I guess her character in Identity Thief was a little different, but there's always that underlying "I'm pathetic, but still pretty decent" theme in everything of hers I've seen. In Identity Thief it was, "I'm pathetic, but deep down I'm a decent person" where it's usually, "I'm pathetic, but deep down I'm pretty bad-ass", as it was in Ghostbusters.
