I doubt that statement is true.
Although I tend to agree that I don't think it's accurate to say someone has killed someone because of atheism.
Maybe I'm wrong about that but I don't see how not believing in god could be the root cause of someone murdering someone else.
Not because of reasons of atheists being morally superior necesserily but just because of the logical implications.
