The name Rameses only appears in Egyptian history in c 1295 BC (roughly 1000 years after Pepy II!) in the person of Ramesses I, father of Seti I and grandfather of Ramesses II and thus founder of the 19th dynasty.
Once again, why do we have to tell you what is in your own silly book? The notion of a city being named for Ramesses 1,000 years before he was born is as ludicrous as the Pilgrims getting off the Mayflower and naming their settlement "Washington" in 1620.
