Happy to read, not so happy to watch videos or listen to some whackjob. If time is money, then I certainly should consider my focus has value as well. And I consider Youtube videos in the same category as "Pastor/Priest/Minister/Imam lectures about something I don't care about". If he's so controversial and obvious, then it shouldn't be too hard finding legitimate reporting on his so-called "Nazi" behaviours, as opposed to fringe rags like Weekly World News (Batboy was a perennial favorite).
Typical. It's a CBS 60 Minutes interview with George Soros. Nothing else. Soros' own words. Just him and the interviewer. But go ahead. Bury your head in the sand. Like it or not, Soros was a Nazi collaborator who helped to seize the property of other Jews.
This is the problem with ALL religions. Religions are not cures. There has never been a period in human history globally where there was never any conflict. Every nation has had its conflicts even eternally and Israel is no different. The holocaust was a horrible event, Hitler caused 50 million deaths on all sides as a result of his pandering to right wing hyper nationalists.
True or not, this is still not addressing the long history of interactions between the big three, and all of them started out in the same region and all are the same character of the God of Abraham.
The Nazis were monsters, but that did not justify what the first Israelis did in taking land and expanding since 48. I also do not like today that Bibi has been on record saying he wants a Talmud based Constitution. I don't see any nation as being equal and western while basing it's core foundation on any holy book or its supplements. Just like I hate it when Christians in the states claim our Constitution was ripped out of the bible.
Protecting western pluralism depends on recognizing the past and the tribalism religions cause and keeping religion on a secular leash. I treat Christianity, Islam and Jewish religions all the same from a government standpoint. You cannot force any of them out of existence, but pointing out one period of time where someone or some group was a victim, does not mean their entire future forever means they are always a victim.
Times change and power shifts and the word "victim" to me is geography, and it depends. Jews are victims depending, but so are minority Muslims and minority Christians depending, and even atheists and LGBT depending.
I support Israel more by comparison to the closed theocracies that surround them, but no, I don't always like their responses to those around them. I hate Bibi as an individual leader, just like I think our GOP here in the states are too gung ho and don't like the harder road of diplomacy.
Israel can do far better than Bibi just like America can do far better than Trump.
