By first batch do you mean the first season? Because I agree, it was really good. The 2nd and 3rd were good, but the 4th...eeehh...
Season 1+2. I don't much care for anything after that... Reichenbach Fall would have been the natural cutoff. Some of it's still good after that, but not close to the level of the first two seasons. Everything felt constructed and lacking interesting stories in lieu of ever more unbeliveable myth arc nonsense.
