Yahweh is traditionally thought of as being very similar to Zeus, an elderly yet youthful bearded man who sits on a celestial throne in the clouds or on some mountaintop. Even the whole lightning-striking-the-sinner theme is Zeus' schtick. Yahweh never once strikes anyone with lightning. He always uses columns of fire, plagues or invading foreign armies.
