I was commenting on out of corrupt, out of control leadership being what apparently both plays and Julius Caesar was about. Not that I've ever been much for Shakespeare.
And, as I mentioned before, Coriolanus might have actually been a better fit, since, while Julius Caesar was about trying to kill him before it got out of control (remember, he thrice refused the crown before deciding to be crowned in the play, and in real life, he had only held the dictator perpetuo title for a month and a half at most, before he really had much of a chance to bollocks everything up) and still remains sympathetic, Coriolanus spends the whole play being out of control and openly detesting the people he leads and paying dearly for it.
Perhaps a version of Julius Caesar worked well with Obama, a popular leader who was known to do some morally and legally questionable things (drone strikes, for instance) in America's name, but Trump's clearly Caius Marcius Coriolanus.
