I revealed that he doesn't understand what a singularity is by merely quoting a few statements of his that contradicted each other. These statements also implied that he didn't know that the Big Bang is considered a singularity by many cosmologists. In fact, it's called big bang singularity or initial singularity. How the fuck would a trained physicist not know that? It's one thing to say, "Yes, some cosmologists believe the big bang was a singularity" but his statement was more in the lines of "singularity at the big bang? what do you mean?"
Are you really this stupid? Not only did Alex demonstrate he knows what Black Holes are, he described in some detail what that means, why people use the term, and asked you what YOU meant when you used the term. Instead of just answering the question you basically kept saying, "Lots of scientists said it, so I must be right! Alex doesn't tell me how super-right I am, so he must not know what he's talking about!"
So much fail in the way you've interacted with him. What you SHOULD do is beg him to share some of his very real knowledge of physics with you. You might learn that "singularity" isn't just a sound bite, but actually has mathematical, physical, and possibly even philosophical meaning that you didn't know about.
