I like Mom better.
Very few shows last more than 5 years. What year is TBBT in now?
According to wiki, the show started in 2007 and the same article claims it is contracted through 2019.

Shows always get old over time. I still don't understand why the Simpsons is still creating new episodes. I stopped watching it long ago. I did watch it for about 10 years but yea, as much as I loved it, it did get old after a while.
I am still interested today in TBBT, but sure, if the writers don't come up with new ideas for future episodes it will become repetitive.
Same thing happened with Three's Company. There was an early episode where Jack and Janet and Crissy were trying to hide a puppy from Mr Roper. In the last seasons they rehashed that story with Jack and Janet and Terry under Mr Ferely(sp).
No show lasts forever, at least not prime time fictional shows sitcoms or dramas. Even Law And Order only continued as spin offs, the original that started the franchise ended long ago.
I will hate to see the end of TBBT, but it will end eventually. Not sure the contract mentioned is a guarantee it will make it to 2019, that depends on the fine print. Kinda like when sports stars get pro contracts, the money you always hear about isn't always what they end up with. But even if it ended today, 10 years is better than most shows.
