Yeah I think that a huge percentage of the population has ALL the characteristics of both NPD and sociopathy to a mild degree. It's a matter of degree. Very few people are sociopaths because very few people fulfil the majority of criteria to a greater degree.
Yes Trump and WLC are both shitheads. As are a huge percentage of people. They don't care about other people. But I think a huge percentage of the population are completely selfish too. Perhaps I am more cynical than you but I think it's true.
Indeed sociopaths and people with NPD often become successful businessmen and they certainly aren't all in jail.
But psychopaths aren't all in jail and are often successful businessmen too. And psychopathy is FAR more severe than sociopathy or NPD put together.
I think it really is a matter of degree. I think we'd a lot more evidence........ and we'd have to be a professional to properly diagnose WLC or Trump as actually having NPD or Sociopathy. There's evidence of them not giving a shit and being manipulative.... but those conditions far surpass that.
