Listening to "children"(dream version) by Robert Miles and to "Ruhe" (Alya remix) by Schiller, brought me back to my high school Raider Challenge workouts. Specifically, while listening to this type of music, we'd do 20 step pyramids: steps 1-10, do as many pushups as you can in 1 minute and rest for 30 seconds; steps 11-20, do as many pushups as you can in 30 seconds and rest for 15 seconds. In addition, we did the same workout for sit ups and then did 20 minute stair runs in our high school auditorium. Most of us would average somewhere around 300 to 400 plus pushups during this workout.
P.S. I still do these workouts and am able to perform over 400 pushups on a good day. In order to have a great workout, I just think of my coach's motivational cheers/sayings during our raider workouts, so that I can have that extra boost.
