Then again, to say interplanetary travel is still in its infancy is too generous, with nobody having landed on another celestial body since the days of Nixon, and that was only the moon. Terraformation is a pipe dream at this point, and given that she picked Jupiter, a gas giant with intense gravity that lacks an actual surface, for-fucking-get it!
That's right, thank you. I got Cher confused with Leena Dunham and Miley Cyrus who said they would leave the US, and added that they mean what they say to make sure people would know it was not just a joke or a throw away comment. If it was an American saying they would leave the US because of the health care system or because they're trans and trans people are treated better elsewhere, or something like that then that would be understandable. Rich celebs are not going to suffer through a Trump Presidency however. They are rich as hell and have everything they need, so them threatening to leave the country comes off as more of a hissy fit as opposed to someone who just wants a better life for themselves and their family.
