What do you think you're doing when you read magic book?  Do you imagine that the authors of magic book were not fallible, corrupt men..... "teaching" you what they could not know?

I've read books about illusions, not much of a magician sorry to say. The Bible on the other hand is a book about life and I can say with absolute certainty that I do not live my life through magic as so many here have to to get through each day. My life is real and full of living every day.
