You'd think wrong. But that's no surprise for a person who lets a man who blames the devil's jealousy for natural disasters do her thinking for her.

Because a proper understanding of the crusades sheds light on the very matter at hand, the christian mindset.
To use a more recent example, the biggest single contributing factor to the holocaust was christian theology. Remove the 1,500 years of anti-semitism from the pulpit and it wouldn't have happened.
